PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce economical and time loss due to the occurrence of a blurred image at a printing rise time after being left unattended, to the utmost. SOLUTION: An ink recovery means 8 for recovering the ink left on the inner circumferential surface of a plate cylinder 2 just after a printing process and returning the recovered ink to an ink roller 22 is disposed in a downstream position slightly away from the printing nip part in the plate cylinder 2. The ink recovery means 8 includes: a scraping member 30 for scraping the ink in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the plate cylinder 2; and a returning member 32 for recirculating the ink scraped by the scraping member 30 to the ink roller 22.
