PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer which improves the cooling efficiency of discharge electrodes and the sealing reliability in a housing, keeps the whole device miniaturized while the insulation in the housing being ensured, and simplifies an assembling process. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer is provided with the discharge electrodes 1, a cooling means 2 feeding water by condensation of water in the air on the discharge electrodes 1 through cooling the discharge electrodes 1, and the housing 6 for housing the cooling means 2 in a closed space, and atomizes water held on the electrodes 1 by applying a high voltage to the electrodes 1. In the above closed space, the cooling part 10 of the cooling means 2, the electrodes 1 and the housing 6 are adhered through an insulated adhesion layer 3 and the adhesion thickness between the cooling part 10 and the discharge electrodes 1 of the insulated adhesion layer 3 is set thinner than that between the cooling part 10 and the housing 6.
