The seal has a base (10) and a seal body (20) that are manufactured from two different elastomer materials, where the hardness of the elastomer material from which the seal body is made is lesser than the hardness of the elastomer material from which the base is made. The seal body has two seal sections (21, 22) which are arranged at side pieces (11, 12) of the base. The side piece has an end section (14) which extends into the respective seal section. The ratio between the length (l) of the end section and the length (k) of the seal sections is 1:3. A recess (16) is provided in the base.
