A competitor is specified by acquiring a captured image of a warmup movement. The captured image of the specified competitor is used to detect an exercise state value which is obtained by converting at least one predetermined exercise state item into numerical form. The exercise state value is stored in a storage unit in a state associated with competition result information of a competition race performed after said warmup movement. Said storage unit, which stores exercise state values and pieces of competition result information corresponding to past competition races for each competitor, is referenced to extract at least one past competition race in which the exercise state value, as stored in the storage unit, of the competitor specified from the image is determined as being close to the latest exercise state value. The competitor's competition result information for the extracted competition race is retrieved and acquired from the storage unit, and presented by an external terminal. Thus, it is possible to provide information that helps to predict the result of a competition race. |
