An oxygen absorbing resin composition containing a copolymer polyolefin compound and a transition metal catalyst wherein the copolymer polyolefin compound contains at least one species of constituent unit (a) selected from the group consisting of constituent units represented by general formula (1) and at least one species of constituent unit (b) comprising an indane ring selected from the group consisting of constituent units represented by general formulae (2) and (3).
