<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection cap capable of securing stable seal performance and insulation characteristics, and to provide an electric wire connection method using it capable of easily manufacturing the cap and preventing the cap from falling off before an uncured resin 20 is cured, at low price. <P>SOLUTION: This has a closed deep wall 12a which confines the uncured resin for seal on the tip side, and an aperture 18 for inserting a joint part on the rear end side wherein a plurality of core wire parts of electric wires are joined by a conductive sleeve, and a plurality of positioning ribs 15 against the joint part at a position of the rotation symmetry are installed on the inner peripheral face of a trunk 13. A gap 16 into which the uncured resin 20 is made to flow is formed between the adjacent positioning ribs 15, and the diameter of the inscribed circle contacted to the inner face 15a of the plurality of the positioning ribs 15 is formed approximately in the same size as the outer diameter of the conductive sleeve.
