The panel-form element for the lining of roofs or facades has a thickness of 3-10 mm., and consists of a mixture of wood particles and a ground agglomerate of recycled plastic which by means of a binding agent is pressed with the wood material under pressure and heat and on at least one side has a coating of bitumen. The ground plastic agglomerate is at least 25 to 80 per cent of the whole raw mass. The ground agglomerate may consist of a mixture of pure plastic and mixed plastic. An independent claim is included for a method for the manufacture of a panel-form element for the lining of roofs or facades.
