A CAMERA FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL HAVING THE FUNCTION OF CHANGEOVER TO PROXIMITY PHOTOGRAPHING

A camera for a mobile communication terminal having a close-up switch function is provided to reduce installation space in the terminal needed according to realization of a close-up function by adjusting focal length of a camera lens with a simple structure without need of separate driving apparatus and control part for switching a photographing mode. A fixing holder(120) is built in a case(10) of a terminal. A screw part is formed at one side of the fixing holder. A plurality of lenses(101) are installed in a lens housing so that they can face toward the outside of the terminal. The lens housing is coupled to the screw part of the fixing holder and thereby moves forward and backward by its rotation. One side of a rotation part is connected to the lens housing and the other side of the rotation part is exposed to the outside. The rotation part rotates the lens housing by external force applied through an exposed part. An image pick-up device(150) is arranged in a line with the lenses and connected to a main circuit board(20) of the terminal and thereby converts an optical image of an object into an electric signal.
