The present invention provides a method for generating a schematic of an electronic device and the same electronic device. The method includes the steps of: setting a reference height with respect to at least one wall side; receiving image information with respect to at least one wall side; generating vector information with respect to a wall side corresponding to the image information; generating the schematic based on the generated vector information.
