<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to register many sorts of devices by one retrieval processing. <P>SOLUTION: A device retrieval process for retrieving devices to be managed, a list information storing process for storing the list information of devices obtained by the retrieval in the device retrieval process, a list display switching process for switching a list of devices to be registered when a destination for registering the managed devices is selected from the device list information stored in the list information storing process, a device selection process for selecting devices from the device list when a registeration destination of the devices to be managed is undetermined, and a display control process for controlling the display of the device list in accordance with a state whether the retrieved devices can use a resource or not are performed, so that labor and time for preparing a plurality of device management groups in each different resource sort and retrieval devices in each of the prepared device management groups can be omitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
