<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument in which a top cymbal pad section can slide on a bottom cymbal pat section smoothly at the time of gliding contact between the top cymbal pad section and the bottom cymbal pad section to be generated by a blow of the top cymbal pard section. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument is equipped with sliding members which promote sliding of mutual pad sections at parts where these pad sections are in contact with each other in the case where the bottom cymbal pad section swings in accordance with the swing of the top cymbal pad section. Thus, even when the top cymbal pad section is struck and swings coming into contact with the bottom cymbal pad section, the gliding contact between the top cymbal pad section and the bottom cymbal pad section is carried out smoothly and the instrument allows for a natural striking sensation comparable to that of an acoustic HiHat cymbal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
