<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily regenerate a carrier signal needed for detection by a demodulating circuit. <P>SOLUTION: At a step 104, digital data of an N-phase phase-modulated signal are generated. For aliasing prevention, a frequency shift is made when necessary (step 106). At a step 108, an N-multiple signal of the N-phase phase-modulated signal is generated. This N-multiple signal is converted into frequency region data through FFT operation at a step 110. At steps 202 to 218, a crest frequency is specified from the frequency region data. At a step 300, a carrier frequency is specified while the crest frequency and a shift quantity when a frequency shift is made are taken into consideration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
