PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a harmful organic contaminant in soil, sludge, ground water, surface water and waste water without electro-osmosis, heat or an inefficient metal catalyst.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of an encapsulation reagent suitable for placement in a contamination area in the ground that is contaminated by a target compound. The production method comprises the steps of: dissolving a massive encapsulation material for preparing an encapsulation material converted into a non-solid state; mixing plural reaction particles to the prepared encapsulation materials, then melting and coating the plural encapsulation materials by the prepared encapsulation material for creating the encapsulation reagent; and cooling the encapsulation reagent for forming a solid encapsulation reagent having at least 25.4 mm (1 inch) of outer diameter and sufficient particle diameter and mass large enough not to flow in the contamination ground area. The solid encapsulation reagent is created so as to float, suspend, or deposit in the ground by manipulating physical properties thereof, such as dimension, surface area, buoyancy, specific gravity or density, thereby controlling its reach to the target compound. |
