PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image with an optimal setting value correspondingly to the type of a recording medium to be used and a method of use of a chromatic toner and a specific color toner without requiring a user to perform a special operation.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 comprises: image formation processing means in which a chromatic toner used for color printing on a sheet and also a specific color toner other than the chromatic toner can be used; a sheet database 310 which stores setting values in respective processing levels of the image formation processing means which are predetermined correspondingly to a combination of a chromatic toner and a specific color toner used for the kind of a sheet; database reference means 320 which acquires an optical operation setting value in the respective processing levels within the sheet database 310 correspondingly to the designated kind of a sheet and the combination of a chromatic toner and a specific color toner used; and operation setting means 340 which causes the device to perform image formation processing on the basis of the optimal operation setting value acquired by the database reference means 320.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
