The transmission selecting device consists of bearing, housing, gearshift lever and linkages between the transmission. A swiveling or a self-aligning bearing is provided which consists of a bearing ball (3) and a bearing ring (4) on a shaft (5). The ends of the shaft are fixed in gearshift lever fork (6) openings (8) and the bearing ring (4) in the housing (1).
