A cutter for the interior trim of a vehicle has one fixed blade (6) and one movable blade (5) with the blades aligned back to back with their flat sides and with the cutting edges in similar planes. The blades are fitted to support mountings (3, 4) and the movable cutter is fitted with a clamp (9) to hold the trim during cutting. The fixed blade is fitted with a support block (10) for the underside of the trim. The cutting depth is less than the thickness of the trim, i.e. each blade cuts more than half way through the trim.
