PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cycle length estimation device of a traffic light capable of estimating a cycle length even at a low-volume intersection.SOLUTION: A cycle length estimation device of a traffic light acquires timing when stopped vehicles start for individual traveling directions (traveling direction 1 through traveling direction 4) of an intersection, calculates time differences among the timing adjacent to one another out of the timing acquired as start intervals and generates histograms on the basis of a sampling number thereof. The cycle length estimation device of the traffic light generates one histogram indicating a relation among the start intervals and the sampling number by synthesizing the histograms generated as described above in all the directions and estimates a cycle length of the traffic light on the basis of one histogram generated. In this case, a specific value out of start intervals is estimated to be the cycle length under the conditions that the sampling number is maximum. |
