Disclosed are a random access method, a user equipment and a base station. The method comprises: a user equipment sends a random access request message carrying short subframe service information to a base station, the short subframe service information indicating that the UE will carry out a short subframe service after a random access process is triggered, wherein the duration of a short subframe is less than 1 millisecond, and after the transmission of the random access request message is completed, the remaining messages in the random access process transmitted between the user equipment and the base station are transmitted in a resource corresponding to the short subframe service. By designing a shorter random access flow, a delay in the process of a UE from an idle state to an activated state is reduced, thereby reducing the time of the whole random access flow, and satisfying a delay requirement for performing a short delay service. |
