PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet in which secondary recrystallized grains are made into fine grains over the whole length of a product coil and iron loss is reduced.SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet, a steel slab containing 0.001-0.20% C, 1.0-5.0% Si, 0.03-1.0% Mn, 0.005-0.040% one or two of S and Se, 0.003-0.050% sol.Al, and 0.0010-0.020% N, is hot-rolled, is cold-rolled to obtained a final sheet thickness, then is subjected to primary recrystallization annealing, and is subjected to final finish annealing after applied with an annealing separating agent consisting of mainly MgO. In the temperature rising step in the primary recrystallization annealing, a temperature rising rate Sduring 300-600°C is set at ≥100°C/s, a temperature rising rate Sduring 600-700°C is set in the range of 30 to (0.5×S)°C/s, and an oxidizing potential P/Pduring 300-700°C is preferably ≤0.05. |
