Broadcast Network System comprising at least one sender and a plurality of receiver units, the receiver unit comprising a chip or a chip set wherein the sender transmits data packages in form of a bit stream based on the RDS block structure using a modulation technique, the data packages comprising a RDS code structure having at least a Group with 4 blocks, each block com-10 prises a (4 bit) group type and a (1 bit) version code to specify the group and the type of the group, the version code can be an A-version or a B-version, the groups can be packed and unpacked so that in the packed groups the blocks with an PI-code are suppressed, and wherein the transmission capacity of the broadcast network system is increased by packing of at least two B-version 15 type groups in the sender, wherein the two B-version type groups are trans-formed into a 3-block structure on an additional bit stream, and wherein unpacking of the group takes place in the receiver. |
