PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a coin-operated locker used in the coin-operated locker usable for many times by fixed amount of coin to lock a locker door securely when not used. SOLUTION: This lock device for the coin-operated locker can turn and operate a cylinder lock by a key while a part or all of the predetermined number of charged coins are held and form a locking stand-by condition being a locking condition for preventing the key from being pulled out of the cylinder lock in accordance with the operation for returning a part or all of the held coins to hold until the predetermined number of coins are charged. A return operation means for performing the operation for returning a part or all of the coins can operate in a locking condition in which the locker door J13h to be locked by the cylinder lock is closed and the key is inserted into the cylinder lock and cannot return coins by the operation of the return operation means by regulating locking when the locker door J13h to be locked by the cylinder lock is not closed.
