Furniture for a television is provided to prevent a stand type television from falling down by being easily fastened to the television using plural holes and a fastening unit. Furniture for a television includes: an upper plate(10a) on which the television can be put; supporting members for supporting the upper plate; and a plurality of holes(10b) punched on the upper plate. The holes are formed on a range corresponding to an area of a prop of a stand type television not to be exposed to the outside after connection of the television. The television is fastened to the furniture through the holes by a fastening unit such as a bolt.
