The assembly has an ancillary (30) for handling a withdrawal thread (31) of a graft of a posterior cruciate ligament. A distal end (32) of the ancillary includes a flange (33). A hooking part (40) is arranged at the distal end and connected to the thread. The flange is introduced in a canal from an anterior surface of a tibia. The flange is pushed towards rear of a hooking part through an opening (15) defined by a distal end (13) of an elongated rigid body (12) for mechanically hooking the body and the hooking part.
