An immunomodulator for use in the treatment, reduction, inhibition or control of a neoplastic disease in a patient intended to undergo checkpoint inhibition therapy, simultaneously, separately or sequentially with administration of the immunomodulator. The immunomodulator preferably comprises a whole cell
