PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air passage switching device which can promptly carry out the switching action of a ventilation passage by decreasing torque during rotations of a damper, and sufficiently suppress air leakage around the damper after the ventilation passage is switched.SOLUTION: A damper 14 switching an air flow from a fan 13 between a first ventilation passage 9 and a second ventilation passage 10, is equipped with a guiding plate 17 and a rotary shaft 19. A damper chamber 15 rotatably supports the damper 14, is equipped with a side wall 21 having a bearing portion 26 of the rotary shaft 19, a first opening 22 in which the guiding plate 17 closes the first ventilation passage 9, and a second opening 23 in which the guiding plate 17 closes the second ventilation passage 10. Whenever the guiding plate 17 is positioned at the first opening 22 or the second opening 23, a first bulge 20 provided on the damper 14 and a second bulge 27 provided in the damper chamber 15 come close to each other or abut on each other so as to prevent ventilation between the guiding plate 17 and the side wall 21 of the damper chamber 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
