DEMAND FORECAST SYSTEM, DEMAND FORECAST METHOD, AND DEMAND FORECAST PROGRAM FOR DATA CENTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand forecast system and a demand forecast method for precisely forecasting demands for IT resources in a data center.

SOLUTION: This demand forecast system is provided with a user behavior model generation part 4 classifying a plurality of users using the IT resources in the data center into a plurality of user behavior classes, an event character model generation part 5 generating an event character model representing temporal change of the IT resource use due to an event and a personal shift between the user behavior classes, and a demand forecast part 6 finding temporal change of IT resource use due to an event to be carried out in the future and a personal shift between the user behavior classes by using the event character model for calculating a load fluctuation in the IT resources.
