PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printer strictly restricted in fabrication and development costs to print an image from RAW data. SOLUTION: The printer is equipped with an input means which inputs the RAW data, an image generating means which generates the image from the RAW data by using de-mosaic processing, a storage means which stores the image in an external storage medium, and a printing means which prints the image stored in the external storage medium. It becomes unnecessary to increase the capacity of an internal memory when the image generated from the RAW data is stored in the external storage medium.
