<p>A switch controller comprises a drive power supply unit (4) having drive means (13) for passing a driving current through a switch when a switching signal is inputted, means (12i) for receiving a switching command from a switching command output device, means (17o) for outputting the switching command from the switching command output device to an external unit, means (19i) for receiving a switching signal from the external unit, first selecting means (18) for selecting either input of the switching command from the switching command output device as the switching signal into the drive means (13) or input of the switching signal from the external unit. Thus, this switch controller is adaptable to complex specification such as the case where a switch can be switched according to a switch command from the switching command output device, the case where the switch does not act even if the switching command is received when the switch is in an abnormal state, and the case where the switch is switched in synchronism with the phase of the voltage or current of the power system.</p> |
