<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operating device whose operating procedure is simple and easy with almost no increase of the number of buttons even if operating a plurality of various pieces of electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The remote operating device has an input part 4 with operation keys corresponding to a plurality of manufacturers, a designation part (a manufacturer designation part 6) which designates one of the plurality of manufacturers by an instruction signal designated by one of the operation keys, a reading part (an electric field strength identification part 8) which reads out the specification information of commodity equipment corresponding to the manufacturer designated by the designation part from an ID tag 5, a display part (an ID tag information analysis part 9) which displays the specification information of the plurality of commodity equipment read out by the reading part, a selection part (a part 10 for generating a remote control signal for each equipment) for selecting one of the specification information, which is displayed on the display part, of the plurality of commodity equipment, and a transmission part (a remote control signal transmitting part 11) for transmitting the specification information of the commodity equipment selected by the selection part to video/sound equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
