<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which simultaneously holds visual information and digital information while restraining printing costs from increasing, an image forming method and an image forming program. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP 100 as an image forming device recognizes the size of printing data for a printing job accepted (S102), recognizes the capacities of the IC tags of a plurality of kinds of paper stored in a paper feed section, having IC tags whose capacities are different (S151), compares the size of the printing data with the capacities of the IC tags (S155) and selects papers to be used for printing on the basis of the result of comparison (S155: YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
