The present invention relates to a light emitting device package for a display or a lighting device, a backlight unit, and a lighting device. The light emitting device package comprises: a substrate on which a first electrode is installed in one side of an electrode separation line and a second electrode is installed in the opposite side; and a light emitting device disposed on a seating surface of the substrate. The substrate may include: a mounting pad portion including the seating surface of the substrate; a separation recess portion which is formed at a periphery portion of the seating surface of the substrate to isolate the mounting pad portion from the other portion of the substrate; and at least one bridge portion which is formed to extend across the separation recess portion such that at least a portion of the mounting pad portion can be connected to the other portion of the substrate.
