PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic binding machine capable of binding, using a string having low intensity (for example, a tension strength of 20 N or lower).SOLUTION: An automatic binding machine 1 is configured to wind a string 5 around an article W to be bound, by rotating a rotation arm 20 in a state of engaging the string 5 which is passed to a tip end 25 of the rotation arm 20 which is an almost L-shape attached to a hollow shaft 30, to a string engagement button 7. A tension arm 40 for adjusting tension of the string 5 by drawing the string 5 between a take-out hole 37 in the hollow shaft 30 and the tip end 25 of the rotation arm 20 to a direction separated from the rotation arm 20, is formed of a plate spring. The tension arm 40 itself is composed of the plate spring, so that weak tension application to the string is achieved, and the structure of the tension arm 40 is simplified, and therefore the automatic binding machine 1 is made hardly broken and excellent in maintenance property.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
