FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand tools and devices for coating profiled surface and can be used, for example, for protecting cars. Device for surface coating consists of profiled handle (304) and applicator (306) flexibly attached to handle (304). Applicator (306) comprises a plurality of three-dimensional geometric elements (308). Applicator (306) also includes a flexible material with a micro-regular profile comprising a plurality of geometric elements (308). Geometrical elements (308) are selected from a group consisting of studs, posts, cones, cylinders, pyramids, mushroom caps, cube corners and hooks or spring. Geometrical elements (308) are spring coils. In contact with profiled surface geometric elements are in point contact with shaped surface. Method of coating surface of profiled member in availability of device for covering profiled surface. Method also includes use of said device. Spatial geometrical elements are in point contact with shaped surface.EFFECT: technical result of invention is to provide a uniform and homogeneous coating of liquid materials by providing a flexible applicator to fit profile of surface and hard point of contact and dosing of film-forming coating liquid on profiled surface or solid structures for formation of uniform coating and uniform films.15 cl, 8 dwg, 4 tbl |
