<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database which is speedily recoverable by obviating sorting process when performing a restoring process by applying a log while providing a plurality of log storage areas. <P>SOLUTION: An administrative server 104 allocates DB servers 1-3 to access a plurality of data storage areas A-D, and the DB servers 1-3 store data in the data storage areas A-D allocated thereto for performing referencing and updating. When updating is performed, a log indicating a modification history of data is stored in log areas 216-218 preset for each database server and when a notification of changing the data storage areas A-D is received from the management server 104, area moving logs 316-318 are stored in the log areas 216-218. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
