MEDIUM RECORDING THREE-DIMENSIONAL VIDEO DATA AND METHOD FOR RECORDING THE SAME

A three dimensional video data recording medium and a method for the same are provided to apply or transmit the stored data to various multimedia applications by producing and storing three dimensional video data compatible with ISO base media file format. A storage format of three dimensional video data comprises an ftyp header(100), an mdat container(200), an moov container(300), and a meta container(400). The ftyp header includes the information about the file type of a stored data and compatibility. The mdat container includes a video or an audio data of each channel to each frame unit. The moov container comprises of an object based structure, and stores a configuration information of three dimensional video data. The moov container includes a frame rate of a media data, a bit rate, content information with image size, and a synchronization information of media data. The meta container contains a container which is storing the information for reproduction of a mixed video having monoscopic video and stereoscopic video, or a single stereoscopic video.
