PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DSC or TG/DTA device with an automatic feeding mechanism, for automatically selecting a reference substance optimum to a sample to be measured from a plurality of the reference substances placed on a tray. SOLUTION: A measuring controller 7 acquires sample data 8 of a sample 2 to be measured from a sample data holder 9 for outputting the same to a reference substance data search device 12, and this reference substance data search device 12 searches for the reference substance data 10 most suitable for the inputted sample data 8 from a reference substance data holder 11.
