VALVE INTERLOCK

A valve control apparatus is provided. The valve comprises two or more inputs (104, 106), two or more outputs (108, 110), and an interlock circuit (102). A system for interlocking a plurality of valves in a valve island is also provided. The valve island comprises a valve island containing a plurality of valves, an input module for receiving valve input signals, an interlock module for interlocking the plurality of valves, and an output module for sending valve output signals to the plurality of valves. A method is also provided for interlocking a first valve and a second valve. First, a first input signal corresponding to a first output is received. Then it is determined whether a second output is already active. Finally, if a second output is not already active, the first output is activated.
