PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine with a carrying device having an image forming device on the downstream side of the carrying device and a carrying part on a paper feed stacking part for efficiently and safely removing jammed paper. SOLUTION: A stopper 5 is functioned by pulling the paper carrying part 1 out, to fix the pulled-out paper carrying part 1. The stopper 5 is arranged in a rail 6 to contribute to miniaturization of the machine. The stopper 5 desirably has elasticity or spring property such as a plate spring or a rubber. After a carrying part side engaging portion 5a of the stopper 5 rides over a rail side engaging portion 6a, a stepped portion 5b at the front end is located on the side of the rail side engaging portion 6a in the rail pulling-out direction and an extension portion 5c is located on the front end of the rail side engaging portion 6a. In this state, stopper force Fs works in the same direction as the pulling-out direction of the paper carrying part 1 to avoid the paper carrying part 1 from being easily moved back inside a device body 3 and force such as guide plate opening force Fx is set.
