PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-area white balance control device that can implement color reproduction inducing uncomfortable feeling even when estimation of a white balance correction gain in each individual area is wrong.SOLUTION: There are provided area dividing means 11 for dividing an input image into plural areas, white balance correction gain estimating means 12 for estimating a white balance correction gain every divided area, white balance correction gain peculiarity determining means 13 for determining, on the basis of the comparison with a white balance correction gain of a peripheral area adjacent to an estimation-executed area, whether the estimated white balance correction gain of the area concerned is peculiar or not, and white balance correction gain correcting means 14 for correcting only the estimated white balance correction gain of the peculiarity-determined area on the basis of the estimated white balance correction gain of the peripheral area adjacent to the peculiarity-determined area.
