PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress input of an excessive load to a limit body from a W pawl.SOLUTION: A webbing winder comprises: a spool 20 on which a webbing to be mounted onto a crewman is wound; a V gear 38 which can be rotated in association with rotation of the spool 20; a lock pawl which is operated thereby regulating rotation of the spool 20 in a drawal direction; and a W pawl 44 which is provided on the V gear 38, and is so displaced as to operate the lock pawl when the V gear 38 is rotated in the drawal direction at a speed equal to or higher than a prescribed speed. Further, the webbing winder comprises a limit body 66 which is moved to an allowable position at which displacement of the W pawl 44 is allowed when the V gear 38 is rotated in the drawal direction, and is moved to a limit position at which the W pawl 44 can be brought into contact with the limit body when the V gear 38 is rotated in a winding direction, and limits displacement of the W pawl 44 by contact with the W pawl 44, and in which an angle θ of contact with the W pawl 44 is so set as to be 90° or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
