PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus safely performing body washing work without inflicting an injury on a care-receiver and improving operability of side guards.SOLUTION: The bathing apparatus is raisably/tiltably provided with side guards 3 at side parts of a placement part 2. The side guards 3 include first portions 3c and 3d and second portions 3a and 3b juxtaposed along the side parts 2h of the placement part 2 respectively, and selectively perform a first operation where one of the first portions 3c and 3d and one of the second portions 3a and 3b are raised/tilted, independently from the others, with respect to the placement part 2, and a second operation where both of the first portions 3c and 3d and the second portions 3a and 3b are integrally raised/tilted with respect to the placement part 2. |
