PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip antenna which adjusts the impedance or tuning frequency of an antenna element by changing the shape of a part of a conductive path pattern. SOLUTION: In this chip antenna in which a radiating element is formed helically by making a circulation path pattern go around the front, rear and side surfaces of a base material made of at least either a dielectric or a magnetic material and one signal terminal and one ground terminal are respectively connected to a conductive land having the prescribed area of one end of the radiating element through a terminal part conductive path pattern, the line width of the terminal part conductive path pattern connected to the terminal is different from those of the other conductive path patterns, or the shape of a part connected to the terminal part conductive path pattern connected to the terminal becomes a shape formed in such a manner that a gap between the terminal part conductive path patterns is extended, and the gap is different from that of between the other conductive path patterns in shape.
