PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siding accessory for mounting a cover member to a joint part of an external wall panel such as a projected corner or a vertical joint in fine appearance with good working efficiency. SOLUTION: The accessory A comprises a mounting base 2 attached to the skeleton side, and the cover member 1 mounted to cover the mounting base 2. The mounting base 2 formed in predetermined shape is protrusively provided with a pair of locking pieces 21 facing each other almost at the center part, connected by a connecting rib 211 and opposedly provided with a plurality of locking ribs 212, 213 on the cover member side of the connecting rib 211. A fitting insertion part 11 fitted into the pair of locking pieces 21 is protrusively provided on the back face side of the cover member 1.
