PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a highly reliable storage system. SOLUTION: The storage system is provided with: a plurality of control parts for controlling the transmission/reception of data independently in each network; a virtual channel connection part for individually connecting a management part for managing the plurality of control parts on the basis of a command transmitted from a management computer, a virtual channel creation part for creating virtual channels between the management part and respective control parts and the virtual channels created by the virtual channel creation part between the management computer and the plurality of control parts in each management part and each control part; and a transmission part for transmitting the command transmitted from the management computer to respective control parts through the virtual channels connected by the virtual channel connection part.
