The present invention relates to a metallic device for scanning near-field optical microscopy and spectroscopy, and to a method for producing same. The device comprises an integral body (1) with a longitudinal extension (2), a nanoscale apex (4) with at least one surface recess (3), and is used as a high-efficiency optical probe with suitable dimensions and details that improve photon-plasmon coupling, allowing nanoscale structures to be analysed with high spatial resolution, high efficiency and high reproducibility. |
