PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod stepladder in which work safety is improved by facilitating the securing of three points even on the undulating ground with set stones and providing stable self-supporting. SOLUTION: In the tripod stepladder, a top plate 2 is mounted to the upper part of a ladder part 1, and a supporting leg 3 is mounted to the bottom surface of the top plate 2. The supporting leg 3 is divided into an upper supporting leg 3a and lower supporting leg 3b, and the upper supporting leg 3a is connected to the bottom surface of the top plate 2 in such a way as to be freely opened and closed forward and backward. A supporting bracket 8 is mounted to the lower part of the upper supporting leg 3a via a bearing 13 in such a way as to be freely rotated in the horizontal directions. The lower supporting leg 3b is mounted to the bottom surface of the supporting bracket 8.
