PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine for improving a response and continuous quick driving performance in driving work. SOLUTION: The cross-sectional area of a trigger valve control passage 16 for communicating a trigger valve chamber 13 with the atmosphere is expanded. The cross-sectional area of a main valve control passage 40 communicating with a main valve chamber 8 and the atmosphere via a trigger valve 6 is expanded. A value of dividing the volume of the main valve chamber 8 by the cross-sectional area of the main valve control passage 40, is set to 1.0 or less. The cross-sectional area of a passage for exhausting air to outside air by passing through the inside of the trigger valve 6 from the main valve control passage 40, is set to the cross-sectional area or more of the main valve control passage 40. A value of dividing the volume of the trigger valve chamber 13 by the cross-sectional area of the trigger valve control passage 16, is set to 0.20 or less. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
