PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell imaging control device, method, and program by which cell images can be captured with focus on cells under observation, without being affected by suspended matters such as dead cells or debris or by the height of the cells themselves, when light transmitted through or reflected off non-stained cells is used for imaging.SOLUTION: The cell imaging control device comprises: a cell detection unit 22 for detecting cells or intracellular structures in a cell image obtained by capturing the light transmitted through or reflected off non-stained cells; and an autofocus control unit 24 for calculating an autofocus evaluation value on the basis of image information on the cells or intracellular structures detected by the cell detection unit 22, and outputting an autofocus control signal based on the autofocus evaluation value to an imaging device that has an autofocus function and captures the cell image. |
