PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: if a display device has an RGBW system, it is required, due to a narrow interval between red and green sub-pixels, to dispose a bent part inside effective pixels or to expand the interval between red and green sub-pixels, both of which lead to decline in transmissivity.SOLUTION: A display device includes: first and second scan lines provided in a first direction; first and second signal lines provided in a second direction; and first and second sub-pixels having light shielding portions and openings. The first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel are disposed in the second direction. The openings of the first and second sub-pixels are disposed between the first and second scan lines and between the first and second signal lines. Each of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel has an electrode having a first main electrode part and a first electrode part connecting to one end of the first main electrode part. The first electrode parts of the first and second sub-pixels are provided with a space between them, in a direction non-parallel to both the first direction and the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
