POLYPROPYLENE RESIN AND BLOWN CONTAINER

A polypropylene resin from which a blown container with excellent transparency, impact resistance and flexibility can be obtained; and, obtained therefrom, a stretch blown container allowing volume reduction/weight reduction. The polypropylene resin is a resin comprising random polypropylene (P1) of 0.5 to 100 g/10 min MFR (ASTM D1238, 230°C, 2.16 kg load) and 3.0 to less than 7.0 wt.% ethylene content, wherein: (i) the ratio of random polypropylene (P1) is 80 wt.% or higher based on the resin, and (ii) the melting curve obtained by DSC measurement is broad and has one melting point peak, wherein the highest intensity peak temperature (Tm) is 120°C or below and the half-value width on the high temperature side of the highest intensity peak is 20°C or higher.
